It’s easy to switch your account to us…and here’s why you should

There’s a reason people dislike switching bank accounts. It seems like a big hassle. You have to get new debit cards and new checks and switch over all your direct deposits and electronic bill payments. Usually you don’t switch unless your bank makes you mad. And really, aren’t all banks the same in that they hold your money until you need it?

Switching doesn’t have to be a problem. In fact, you don’t even need to be present to open an account. The truth is, we make the process easy once you decide to bank with us.

It takes only 15 minutes to open an account in person or online. Show us a driver’s license, state-issued ID or passport (or a Social Security card and birth certificate if it’s a minor) and you’re ready to go. At Second National Bank our process is quick and easy.

You’ll have to do a little legwork to switch your direct deposit and electronic bill payments. But all told, you’re ready to go in about 30 minutes. We have a form you can hand your human resources department with your account and routing numbers to simplify the direct deposit change.

Once you see that switching isn’t such a hassle, we give you every reason to do it. We don’t believe in gimmicks to get you in the door. We want your business, and we believe that’s built on trust and personal service. You aren’t a transaction statement of dollars and cents. Your hopes and dreams matter to us, and we like getting to know our clients.

When you open an account here, you get a local bank where dedicated people are focused on creating a long-term relationship with you and helping guide you as your financial needs change.

Our goal, simply, is to make banking easy.

That was the motivation for our new Priority Series of Accounts. We asked our clients what they wanted in an account, and from that came four options that are sure to fit your lifestyle. No matter which account you choose, you can protect yourself from overdraft fees with the new Overdraft Account Link, which lets you link to another Second National Bank account for free overdraft protection. There are also other overdraft options you can choose from.

Every account comes with standard features such as:

• A debit card with chip technology

• Free online banking

• Free mobile banking with photo deposit

• Real-time account alerts

• Fraud monitoring

• Free access to more than 120 ATMs in the Park Family of Community Banks network

• Overdraft protection options

• 24/7 live customer support from service centers located in Ohio.

Some accounts offer more robust perks such as ATM fee refunds, free checks and mailed or paperless statements.

Our new Account MatchUp tool is an excellent way to see which account might be right for you. It will ask you questions about how you like to bank and offer an account suggestion based on how you prefer to access your money. You can view other options as well and find easy ways to reduce or waive a monthly service charge.

There’s no better time than now to switch your account to a bank that works for you and with you, makes your life easier and treats you how you like to be treated. Call our Customer Care Center today at 937.548.2122, come visit any of our banking offices or go online to get started.
