Your community is our community.
Our bankers care about helping our entire community thrive and prosper.
Yes, our approach to doing business has earned us a reputation as a bank you can depend on, but our commitment to you goes beyond financial services.
Our clients count on us to support the people and organizations working to build and care for our communities. Our culture is deeply rooted in the values of service and philanthropy, and we believe strong communities are built with local volunteers, donations and leadership.
We are proud of the time, energy and compassion our associates dedicate by volunteering for many local non-profit organizations each year.
From sponsoring a basketball scoreboard, to tutoring elementary school students, to raising funds for the United Way or serving as board members on local committees, you’ll find us involved in every aspect of the areas we serve.
These are just some of the many ways we’re active in our community. It’s an honor to work alongside our friends and neighbors.
Second National answers the call to save a family's Christmas
On the week of Christmas a local organization called to see if we could give four young children the Christmas they deserved. Their grandmother was awarded emergency custody, and when the children arrived at her doorstep, they only had the clothes they were wearing.
More than 40 Main Office associates sprang into action. In a few days, toys, clothes, food baskets, gas cards, and even a bicycle for each child came through our doors. Our Consumer Lending Operations team wrapped every gift. Read More…
Supporting the United Way is something SNB bankers enjoy doing throughout the year, with several associates on the funds allocation committee. We have participated in their corporate softball and bowling fundraising events and we hold an annual associate auction to raise monies for them. We also have designated jeans day during the year with the proceeds going to the United Way to support their member agencies. Along with the donation made by SNB, our associates also individually donate to the United Way.
Second National Bank is proud to be a corporate sponsor for the Darke County Special Olympics program. Associates from SNB participate as ribbon presenters at the annual track & field competition and have also participated in their charity basketball game. John Swallow, SNB president is a participant in the Unified Golf program and partners with an athlete for a weekly round of golf and year-end tournaments.
Main Street Greenville
Second National Bank’s main office is located in downtown Greenville, and we see the results of the great work done by Main Street Greenville in helping the downtown business community grow and prosper. We financially support this organization with an annual contribution and by sponsoring various events like the “Win the Window” contest during the holidays and the Giving Gala benefit dance.
Second National Bank is delighted to be able to say “yes” to the many requests we get for donations, sponsorships, volunteers and other contributions that support our communities. We strongly believe in investing our money locally and doing everything in our power to support the people and groups in our neighborhoods.Make a Request
